Buyer–Supplier Disputes & Resolution

How commercial disputes are allocated, what users should do, and the limited role of TIZARAT.

Policy Version: 2026-11-05-v2.2Effective: 5 November 2026IndiaB2B service
सामान्य हिंदी सार: Buyer और Supplier के बीच माल, payment, quality या delivery का विवाद उन्हीं दोनों का है। TIZARAT formal court, arbitrator या guarantor नहीं है।

1. The sale contract is between buyer and supplier

Any purchase, sale, supply, manufacturing, distribution, credit or service contract is made directly between the buyer and supplier. They must independently agree and document specifications, sample approval, price, tax, payment milestones, delivery, inspection, acceptance, warranty, return, replacement, cancellation and dispute terms.

Electronic quotations, purchase orders, emails and messages may form part of a contract between buyer and supplier, subject to applicable law. TIZARAT is not a signatory to that sale contract merely because its platform introduced the parties.

2. Matters TIZARAT does not decide or guarantee

TIZARAT does not adjudicate whether goods are defective, whether a sample was met, whether an invoice is correct, whether a payment is due, whether a delivery was timely, whether a buyer must accept goods, whether a supplier must refund money or whether either party breached the sale contract.

TIZARAT does not hold purchase money, operate escrow, provide trade credit, insure transactions, collect supplier debts, compel a refund, arrange replacement goods or act as a legal representative for either side.

3. Recommended direct resolution steps

Step 1: Preserve quotation, purchase order, approved sample, invoice, payment proof, transport receipt, photographs, messages and delivery records.

Step 2: Send a written notice to the other party describing the issue, relevant order/lead reference, evidence and the remedy requested.

Step 3: Give the other party a reasonable opportunity to respond and propose inspection, correction, replacement, refund or payment according to the agreed contract and applicable law.

Step 4: If unresolved, seek advice and approach the competent court, commercial forum, consumer forum where legally applicable, police/cybercrime authority or regulator as appropriate.

4. Limited platform assistance

Users may report suspected fraud, impersonation, abusive conduct, unsafe listings or misuse of the platform. TIZARAT may review platform records, suspend access, remove content, preserve information or forward a complaint to the relevant user or authority where legally appropriate.

Any voluntary forwarding or administrative assistance is not formal mediation, arbitration, admission of liability, endorsement of either party or a promise that the dispute will be resolved.

5. Non-waiver of legal remedies

Nothing in this policy prevents a user from exercising a non-waivable legal right or approaching a competent authority or forum. The allocation of commercial responsibility in these policies does not excuse fraud, unlawful conduct or a statutory duty that cannot be excluded.
