1. Prohibited conduct
Users must not impersonate another person or business, create fake or duplicate accounts to evade restrictions, submit fake requirements, manipulate reviews or lead status, falsify payment references, misrepresent a GSTIN/licence, conceal the real seller, or attempt to avoid an agreed platform fee.
Users must not scrape, harvest, bulk-export, resell or misuse contact details; send spam; stalk, threaten, defame or harass; distribute malware; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with the service; or use the platform for money laundering, fraud or unlawful financial activity.
2. Prohibited goods and offers
Do not list or seek goods that are illegal to manufacture, possess, market, distribute, import or export; counterfeit or trademark-infringing goods; stolen goods; recalled or knowingly unsafe products; products requiring a licence that the supplier does not hold; or goods whose sale is restricted to an authorised channel where the supplier lacks authority.
Restricted categories may include weapons, ammunition, explosives, narcotics or controlled substances, hazardous chemicals, illegal surveillance devices, human body parts, endangered wildlife products, stolen data, forged documents, gambling services and other categories prohibited by law or platform notice.
Regulated goods may be permitted only where the platform expressly enables the category and the supplier submits all legally required authorisations. TIZARAT may prohibit additional categories as a risk-control measure.
3. Product safety and truthfulness
Do not make false claims about brand, origin, material, weight, dimensions, quality, certification, safety, medical benefit, approval, warranty, stock, price or delivery. Do not use edited images to conceal defects or mislead buyers.
Suppliers must promptly inform TIZARAT if a product becomes recalled, unsafe, unlawful, counterfeit or subject to a regulator notice.
4. Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected violations with the listing or lead ID, URL, evidence and a short explanation through the grievance channel. TIZARAT may preserve records, restrict visibility, request documents, disable access, suspend accounts or report matters to authorities where required or appropriate.
Platform moderation is a safety and policy measure, not a warranty that every other listing has been inspected or verified.
Periodic reminder and enforcement
Where applicable under Rule 3(1)(c) of the IT Rules, 2021 as amended, TIZARAT will display or send a simple user advisory at least once every three months explaining that unlawful information and misuse are prohibited, content/access may be removed or disabled and accounts may be suspended or terminated, users remain responsible for their unlawful conduct, and reportable matters may be referred to competent authorities where law requires.
